How to Save Segments in Gatsby

Segments are dynamic and update automatically based on filters.

Segments in Gatsby function similarly to those in tools like Klaviyo and Attentive. They allow you to organize profiles dynamically based on attributes and activities. Unlike tags, which are static and remain unchanged, segments update automatically as profiles meet the specified segment conditions.

How to Create a Segment in Gatsby

1. Open the Profiles Page
   Navigate to the Profiles page in Gatsby.

2. Apply Filters
   Create a filter or a set of filters that define the conditions for your segment.

3. Save the Segment
   Once your filters are set, click the Save Segment button that appears next to the filters.

Access Saved Segments

Saved segments can be reopened anytime from the dropdown menu on the Profiles page.

Syncing Segments with Integrations

We’re in the process of rebuilding how Gatsby segments sync with integration partners like Klaviyo, Attentive, and loyalty platforms. Currently, this sync feature is temporarily disabled. Please check back on this help doc for updates when the integration functionality is re-added.
