We often get asked how to structure and draft the outreach templates.
So on this guide (Step 2) we suggest breaking your influential customers into tiers. A good starting point is as follows:
Audience size of 1,000 to 5,000 followers can get $10 off next purchase
Audience size of 5,001 to 10,000 followers can get $15 off next purchase
Audience size of 10,001 to 25,000 followers can get $20 off next purchase
Audience size of 25,001 to 50,000 followers can get $100 off next purchase
Those $ amounts are totally variable though, depending on what your products cost etc, but those follower tiers are pretty common.
And then for the text of the email outreach - we suggest plain text emails (although some brands do html newsletter style) and you can write something like:
Hi [First Name}, thanks for entering your Instagram the other day when you signed up. It looks great! Are you up for a quick collab?
We would be happy to send you XX if you share your love for [our brand] on Instagram. Just be sure to specifically tag @[ourhandle] in the picture and mention @[ourhandle] in the caption so we can send you the reward.
As with anything in email marketing, it's great to test different offers, messaging, and creatives with your audience, but this is a great starting point. Please chat us if you have any questions!
